The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll away from all the action in town, we were able to easily explore the main attractions and sample delicious local restaurants. Plus, the view of the estuary was absolutely stunning - it really added to the romantic atmosphere of our escape. The spaciousness of the property was also a big bonus, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. And let's not forget about the parking space - a rare find in this popular destination!
Okay, so the decor was a bit tired and could use a little refresh, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal for us. We knew it was reflected in the price and we were more interested in the location and value.

This place is in a prime location, just a short 5-minute stroll from all the main attractions in Salcombe. The views of the estuary from the property are absolutely stunning, and the spaciousness of the accommodation is a definite plus. The added bonus of a car parking space is a real perk, especially considering the limited parking options in the area. All of this at a great value makes it a perfect choice for solo travelers like myself.
Felt safe and secure, no complaint.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. It felt like a little sanctuary where I could unwind and wash away the sand and saltwater. The kitchen/dining room with its spacious table seating six was ideal for enjoying meals together with my family. We had plenty of space to spread out and the atmosphere was really cozy and homely.
Personally, I would have preferred another shower instead of just one bathroom with a shower.
